Betta Ultra – The Leading Edge Of Steel Palisade Technology.

Betta Ultra Steel palisade system is at the leading edge of steel palisade technology, resulting from extensive research and testing.  The cold rolled “Ultra” pales, rails and posts create an exceptional strong security fence with an attractive look that is lacking from other systems.

The Betta Ultra System is assembled on site quickly and easily, following the gradient of the ground, eliminating vulnerable gaps at ground level left by some mesh and rigid panel systems.

Specifiers and users can safely rely on the Betta Ultra Pale’s unique profile and its patented bolt head protection system that make it superior over conventional pale.  The edges of the deep double curvature are finished with a neat Dutch bead, that not only provides further strength along the length of the pale, but makes it ideal for safe use where children may come into contact with the fence.  There is a choice of Betta Ultra Pale heads to suit all requirements; on installations around schools or parks we would strongly recommend the round or round and notched tops.

Betta Ultra Rail
The unique and aesthetic design of the Betta Ultra Rail, linked to the inherent strength of the profile, offers many advantages over the traditional RSA (angle iron) rails including:

        · Significant reduction in foothold area discouraging attempts at climbing
        · The top anti-grab tags add a further unique deterrent
        · Reduced sag eliminating the need for ‘anti-sag legs’
        · Reduced risk of tampering with fixings

Betta Ultra RSJ Posts
Developed using cold steel technology the Betta Ultra RSJ Post used with the system is a unique lightweight post that is stronger than traditionally used 102 x 44 mm hot RSJ.  Designed to appear as a standard post and slotted to fit standard fishplates the post offers several advantages including:
        · Pierced bottom of posts to key in to concrete
        · Lightweight construction for ease of handling without loss of strength
        · Reduced transportation and handling costs

Betta Ultra Secure
The first system of its kind, the Betta Ultra Secure, has solid infill panels between pales, offering heightened levels of defence against breaches by cutting, bending or tampering.  In addition to being lightweight, the panels have been designed to allow raking installation that conventional mesh systems find difficult to achieve.
The Betta Ultra Secure system can create complete privacy or allow, by using perforated infill panels in the place of solid ones, surveillance.

Betta Ultra View
The perforated pale in the Betta Ultra View System, offers the same security protection as the Betta Ultra Pale System, whilst allowing improved surveillance.  The perforated pattern makes this an ideal solution for schools and high security sites where surveillance is essential.  Commercial sales sites can display their products to the general public, whilst retaining the high level of security.

Betta Gates
Gates of all sizes and configuration are manufactured to the highest standards and maintain the site security offered by the fences. Swing, sliding cantilever and bi-folding gates are offered for manual use or automated by the specialist department of the Betta Group.  The Gate Automation Department can offer a high quality and reliable ‘Speed Gate’.

Technical / installation

Standard heights:       1800, 2000, 2100, 2400, 3000 and 3600 mm.
Non-standard heights can be manufactured to order.

Betta Ultra can be manufactured upon request to suit projects requiring:

The Betta Ultra System may be finished in:
        · Hot dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:1999
        · Hot dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:1999 and Polyester Powder
  Coated to BS 1722 Part 16:1992
· Polyester Powder Coated to BS 1722 Part 16:1992
· Polyester Powder coating may be any RAL colour, the standard being black
   (RAL 9005) and green (RAL 6005)

The Betta Ultra System exceeds the rigorous requirements set out by the British Standards 1722 Part 12 and every new batch of pale is performance tested to ensure that there is no deviation from the high quality expected from the system.

A certificate of conformity is available upon request.

Please note:
If specified, traditional “D” pale, angle iron (RSA) rails and rolled steel joist (RSJ) posts can be supplied in place of the Ultra components, allowing the fence to closely match any existing alternate palisade system.
